REMEMBRANCE


The replicated Hill's Fort is a reality because of the blood, sweat and tears and many devoted workers. Many of those dear friends have gone to the blockhouse in the sky. We pay tribute to them:

Both Bill Wilson and Bill Johnson served as president of the Hill's Fort Society.

To paraphrase an African proverb: "As long as we speak their name, they shall live forever."

Membership

The Hills Fort Society is looking for reenactors, vendors, and living history exhibitors to participate in the anniversary of the attack at Hills Fort. The event will be held September 2025 at the reconstructed fort site in Greenville, Illinois. For further information contact Ken Gaffney at 217-324-6720.
